Be a good friend

6:11 am

  • Make sure they’re okay the moment you sense something wrong.
  • Know when to be serious and when to be goofy.
  • Go the extra mile when they ask for help.
  • Don’t give up on them during their darkest hours.
  • Make them feel wanted.
  • Understand and respect boundaries.
  • Tell them, “I’ve always got your back,” at least once (and mean it.)
  • Be honest and constructive when needed.
  • Introduce them to others.
  • Jump to the rescue when asked.
  • Don’t bring up uncomfortable subjects they dislike.
  • Be okay with gaps in conversation.
  • Be dependable (punctuality and keeping promises.)
  • Learn how to apologize.
  • Know how to show you’re happy for them.
  • Show small gestures on occasion.
  • Start saying yes more often to your friends and make time for them.
  • Keep in touch and make sure you don’t drift apart
